Founded in 2020 by Alisa, Sunflower Horse Stable is just 20 minutes from Basildon Hall. Only 30 minutes from Reading Sunflower Horse Stable has been a family home since 1980 and has undergone considerable facility upgrades over the past few years to cater to our growing clientele and further stables and facilities are in the pipeline.

Amber has been around, ridden, trained or owned horses for as long as she can remember, sitting atop a horse before she could even walk. Originally trained in Classical Dressage from a very young age before moving on to compete in Showjumping, Amber brings the knowledge and skills garnered with much blood, sweat and tears over the years into Sunflower Horse Stable's bloodstock operation. Combining old fashioned horsemanship with modern training techniques and nutrition, Amber's mission is to produce happy, healthy and hard working horses for every client..

Billy moved to Sunflower Farm in 2011, bringing with him extensive knowledge from a background in Private Estate/Farm Management and Mechanical Engineering. Billy has always loved horses and enjoyed riding and hacking out before a serious motorbike accident kept him out of the saddle. During the winte Billy  spends his time on the tractors, maintaining the grounds, paddocks and machinery as well as overseeing new building works at Sunflower Horse Stable.

However, over the years Alkhas has become an exceedingly good horseman and in particular, yearling handler. With a sharp eye for conformation and movement along with his quiet confidence and boundless patience with the horses, he has proved invaluable to Sunflower Horse Stable Bloodstock's Sales Preparation process.
